| I am from Connecticut and I purchased a future retirement property in Mesa in August 2010. I did not know any realtors in the area, but was referred to Cheri and Bill Olmstead. They set up an online portal that provided me with the listings in the area where I was looking. The portal was set up so only homes meeting my specifications were listed. I then selected several possible homes and Cheri and Bill checked them by going to the home and doing inspections. They did all the leg work. They then made recommendations and helped me to narrow the list to a few properties. I then placed bids on 2 properties, one a short sale and one a foreclosure. They were excellent in providing me with information and options. A bid was accepted and a contract signed.
This was all accomplished online without my having to travel back to AZ. They helped me secure the mortgage by working closely with the mortgage company and gave me the information relative to AZ real estate laws and regulations. It was truly a pleasurable experience. The sale went through with no problems and I purchased a foreclosed home at a great price but it needed extensive work. This is where Bill and Cheri truly made an impression on me as top rate professionals. Even though the sale was finalized they continued to assist by recommending several contractors to provide various services. All the contractors, landscaping, flooring, roofing, painting, garage door openers and irrigation did a great job at very competitive prices in a very timely manner. All these services were provided at no additional cost as part of the services they provided. My daughter was able to move into the house we purchased with no issues. The Olmstead’s are exactly what I needed to find a great property without the time and expense of trips to AZ. They were very patient and made sure I was informed of any possible problems which might occur. I truly feel they were looking out for my best interests and were very honest with all aspects of the purchase and renovations.
